Ice Dyeing Fabric
Joyce Deckard Anderson
I find inspiration in color, commercial patterns, a specific process, music, nature and more. Recently I embraced snow dyeing fabric (winter, of course) and during the summer I like to rust dye fabric. Once the dyeing process is complete the “surprise” reveal is gratifying even more than the thoughts of what I could make from them.

Quilting
Barb and Bill Gover
Our work usually starts with the quilt and the inspiration often starts with a great fabric. Barb works intuitively with only a general concept and a minimal plan. Then she hands the quilt over to Bill who gets out his graph paper and drafting tools to make a plan for supporting it down to the last 3/16 inch. It is true: opposites attract!

Weaving
Nancy Sandstrom
Whether it is a scarf, a kitchen towel, a runner or a rug, each piece seems to have its own story. There is great joy in thinking of someone using and enjoying a simple piece of weaving.

Mixed Media
Brenda Brouder
While I started out as a traditional quilter, recent years have found me investing my time into art quilts and small works. I love the gathering of materials, and design portion of quilting; all the auditioning of different fabrics, threads and embellishments is the best. My work can be seen on my website, worthwhilegoods4u.com or on Instagram @worthwhilegoods4u.
